MESSAGE
DESCRIPTION
ZephIR has just powered up. Turning on laser automatically.
Sent when the ZephIR first turns on. The configuration is set to power the laser
on automatically.
ZephIR has just powered up. Waiting for laser on command.
Sent when the ZephIR first turns on. The configuration is set to not power the
laser on automatically. The user must log in and activate the laser.
Recalculating RIN.
Sent whenever the ZephIR recalculates the RIN. Configurable in the ZephIR set-
tings.
ZephIR battery low. Powering off.
This is sent when the battery is low and the ZephIR is set to automatically power
off on low battery in the configuration. The ZephIR will power itself off immedi-
ately after sending this message.
ZephIR battery low. Auto power off disabled
This is sent when the battery is low and the ZephIR is prevented from turning
itself off in the configuration settings. The ZephIR may continue to run or it may
fail due to the lower power state. Data collected in this state cannot be guaran-
teed reliable.
Undefined power problem.
There is a power problem with the LIDAR. Please check it as soon as possible.
Consider powering it off remotely in the mean time.
Partial shutdown successful.
One of the ZephIR components has failed and is drawing excess current. The
ZephIR has isolated and disabled it. The ZephIR will continue to run but operation
may be impaired. Please check the ZephIR as soon as possible. Consider power-
ing it down in the mean time.
Note that if the modem is the faulty component then the system may enter this
state without sending a text.
Partial shutdown failed. Kit shutting down
One of the ZephIR components has failed but it was unable to identify it or it is
a critcal component. The ZephIR will power off immediately after sending this
message.
12v Requires Attention. Laser will require setting.
There is a power problem with the 12v line. The system will automatically try to
identify it and shut the faulty component down. Please check the ZephIR as soon
as possible.
15v Requires Attention. Laser will require setting.
There is a power problem with the 15v line. The system will enter a partial
shutdown state. No data will be collected until it is reset and the problem fixed.
Please check the ZephIR as soon as possible.
Interlock active.
The interlock has fired for reasons of laser safety. There are a number of reasons
for this. If possible, log on and check the unit. If the interlock remains on, the
status flags will give the reason. No data is collected while the interlock is on.
ZephIR is overheating.
The temperature inside one or more of the ZephIR pods has exceeded safe levels.
If this situation persists for 7 minutes then the ZephIR will shut itself down to
prevent damage. Please check the unit as soon as possible.
Test SMS from ZephIR.
This is sent by user request from the PC software. Note that this will not work if
remotely dialed into the unit as the modem is in use.
