Electric Boiler Controller NELBC-1
Heating Setup
– All the parameters of the heating section of the boiler are set here.
If "Floor Heating" option is activated then the set heating temperature and the temperatures of the
timers is limited to 50°. If any of these temperatures is above 50°, then it is automatically set to 50°
and the following message is displayed:
If "Pump Control" option is activated then the circulation pump always works when the heater is on
and 5 minutes after it is switched off. When "Pump control" option is deactivated then the pump
works all the time while the boiler is working.
When "Frost Protection" is activated, the controller keeps the heating installation from freezing by
switching on the circulation pump the temperature of the fluid falls below 10°. If the temperature
falls below 6°, then the heater starts to work at 10% until the temperature rises up to 10°.
Parameter "Power Limit" sets the maximum output (from 20 to 100%) up to which the electric
heating element could be controlled.
The next parameters set the range of normal pressure in the heating installation. When pressure
below the set minimum is measured, it is supposed that there is a leak in heating installation and the
heater and the pump are stopped, error message is displayed accompanied by alarm sound. Then
pressure is above the maximum then there is error message and alarm sound too, but heating is not
stopped.
When "Sensor flow rate" option is disabled then the controller considers that there is a flow switch
instead of flow rate sensor.
