Electronic pellet burner controller – NPBC-V3C-1/ NPBC-V4C-1
Modulation
and after that it turns off. When the room thermostat switches back to its normal
state, if the temperature of the water in the boiler meets the required conditions for P1 (or
higher power level), specified in the menu
Factory Settings → Power Modulation
, the burner
starts again.
•
DHW Priority
– the domestic hot water heater (DHW) has higher priority. The pump turns on
when all of the following conditions are implemented:
•
The temperature of the water in the boiler is higher than 35
o
C
•
The difference between the boiler's temperature and the water heater's temperature is
more than 5
o
C
•
The water heater's temperature is lower than
WH set temp
.
The circulation pump turns off when the water heater's temperature is equal or higher than
WH
set temp
. It turns on again when the water heater's temperature gets lower than the difference
between
WH set temp
and
Hysteresis
. This work mode assures faster heating for the water
heater by turning off the central heating installation's pump when the water heater's pump is on.
If the central heating installation works with a room thermostat and if it activates, the CH pump
stops. If both installations don't need more heat, the burner switches to Suspend power level. If
any of the installations needs heating, the burner resumes its normal work and switches to the
required power level according to the boiler's temperature. When the time for Suspend power
level is up, the burner turns off, if no heating is required yet. It turns on again when any of the
installations needs to be heated and the conditions for P1 power level set in the menu
Factory
Settings → Power Modulation
are implemented.
•
For a normal heat exchange, the boiler's set temperature must be at least 5°C higher
than the water heater's set temperature!
•
If the central heating installation works without a room thermostat its pump works
continuously and unconditionally.
•
Parallel Pumps
– both the central heating and the domestic hot water installations work. The
burner and the pumps work as in DHW priority. The only difference is that the central heating
circulation pump is allowed to work together with the DHW pump.
•
Summer Mode
– the boiler works only to heat up the water heater. The difference between
this mode and DHW Priority is that the boiler turns on only if the water heater needs to be
heated. When the water heater reaches the set temperature (
WH set temp
) the boiler turns off.
This mode does not control the central heating installation.
