1. General
1.1 Access levels
The miniK10 has three access levels:
- User code (4-digits) - for opening and closing the lock
- Master code (6-digits) - for configuring the lock
- Service code (5-digits) - for emergency unlocking
1.2 Lock functions
The miniK10 can be programmed with two different lock functions:
Single user mode (for repeated use)
• The lock can be opened with a pre-programmed 4-digit user code.
• Anyone can close the lock; a code is not required.
• The locker can be opened each time with the pre-programmed user code.
Locker mode (for single use)
• The lock can be opened with a 4-digit user code.
• Once opened, any new user can lock it again with a new code.
1.3 Blocking the lock
It is possible to set the lock to block automatically for five minutes after a code has been entered
incorrectly three consecutive times. The keypad is then unresponsive for approximately five minutes.
Note: This function must be activated beforehand (see chapter 5, programming the lock).
1.4 Safety advice
When first using the lock, change the factory code into a personal one right away. When choosing a
code, avoid using obvious number combinations such as your date of birth or a section of your phone
number or postal code. Remember the code and keep it to yourself. If you want to write the code down,
keep it in a secure location.
