• The watertight integrity of the unit depends on the protective USB cover being in place.
• Splash proof in all sea conditions, when upper cap is open.
• Non-emergency functions will automatically shut off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
IMPORTANT!
Red Lifeline button is not functional until registered and activated.
(see steps 4-6 on reverse)
IMPORTANT!
Lifeline must be fully charged to 100% before first use.
Battery indicator is not accurate until unit has been fully charged.
Use supplied cable only.
• Plug the supplied USB cable from your unit into a USB port
on your computer or any USB charger.
• Leave the unit plugged in until it is fully charged to 100% and green light goes out.
• When finished, disconnect USB cable and replace the protective cover over the USB
port. Ensure seal on protective cover is perfectly clean and cover is fitted correctly.
Using your Marine Radio and GPS

Press Chat Button to turn Lifeline on. Press and hold until “T” appears on LCD screen,
then talk into mic. Release Chat Button to receive.
Changing Chat Button Channel
1. Press green button 3 times quickly to enter channel change mode
2. Scroll through channels using chat button
3. Hold down chat button to select and confirm channel
Turn on Position Indicating Light
1. Press green button 2 times quickly to turn position indicating light on.
