Configuration
Operator’s Manual
Time Format:
Sets the time to either a
24 Hour
(default) or
12 Hour
clock.
Time Offset:
Sets the local offset to UTC time. 0:00 is the default.
Summer Time:
Sets the local clock ahead one hour in the summer for
daylight savings time when set to

, or to the Local Offset time
when set to
No
.
The adjusted time value is displayed in the lower window so you can
verify the current time without having to leave the screen.
Wind
The receiver will display wind information in the
NAV4
screen when
connected to a NMEA 0183 sensor which can provide the MWV or
VWR sentence.
Data Input Port:
1 (default) or 2 for MX420/2
1 (default) or 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 for MX420/8
Note: Ports 3 & 4 are reserved for the MX421 GPS and Beacon
controls and will not be selected.
Wind Speed Unit
: miles per hour, meters per second, knots, kilometers
per hour.
