Important:
During updates, the power supply must not be interrup-
ted! Please perform the update sequence with the ignition
turned on. During an update sequence do not start up your
engine and / or interrupt the power supply willfully by pul-
ling the cable from the cigarette lighter socket or by turning
off the ignition! Also, refrain from using the Mobility Pack
during updates since battery performance can drop sud-
denly.
The reasons why an installation has not been completed successfully
are for example a defective CF card, a CF card inserted incorrectly or
disconnection of power supply to the navigation system. You must then
re-initialize the system and re-start the update sequence. If this is not
possible, please contact our hotline immediately.
20. Administration of the Maps
With regard to the map material, the scopes of supply for the individual
naviflash navigation systems deviate from each other. Please note the
descriptions on the supplied DVD regarding the exact date and the
countries that are named.
The memory sizes of the available SD cards deviate from each other,
too. 1 GB and 4 GB cards are available.
Note:
Please note that no every country mentioned covers the
road network to 100%. Furthermore the stored data of the
road network may not always comply with the situation you
encounter. If you wish to have more detailed information
on maps. Please click on the homepage of the provider Tele
Atlas under www.teleatlas.de.

ware which is sold by BURY GmbH – the

Administration of the Maps
You need the following information to manage maps, e.g. copy data
from the DVD to the SD card:
- the serial code of the SD card (see navigation system or packaging of
SD card),
- the license code of the DVD, and
- the key code (see the sticker on the back of the DVD case for both
codes)
In case you have trouble finding the codes please contact the BURY
hotline.
Copy Maps
a) For the administration of the maps, for example copying a country
pack from the map material DVD to the SD card of your navigation
system, you need the NCUM which you also need for an operating sys-
tem update. You find the NCUM on our homepage www.naviflash.com
/ Service or on the DVD provided.
b) You can install this software on your computer. When installing the
DVD just insert the DVD, the program will then open automatically. Just
select a language and click on “install”. The program will also create
automatically a file and a program icon on your desktop. Just confirm
the installation processes with Next or OK. Installing the program from
the internet is just as easy.
c) Now open the program in case it hasn’t opened yet.
d) Click on the globe symbol, on the data base manager.
e) Remove the SD card from the integrated SD card reader in the mo-
nitor of the navigation system. Insert it into a SD card reader and
connect it to your computer.
