Suggest ion
Device does not t urn
off
If in vehicle: check t he st yle can develop. That t he Car charger socket
is not st ill pow ered (on) w hen t he key is removed (as w it h some
European cars).
Wait 20 seconds for file finalisat ion/ closure.
Disconnect pow er lead t o device.
Press “ ok” t o st op recording, t hen press pow er t o t urn off.
Cant playback t he

Upgrade your w indow s media player version or use an alt ernat e

Check t he capacit y of your M icro SD card, t he files may have been
overw rit t en in t he record cycle process.
The device has
frozen/ st opped
w orking
Check t he speed of your M icro SD card. We recom mend class 10 for
fast er t ransfer rat es, especially if t he record file size is bigger
If t he ambient t emperat ure is excessive, you may need t o w ait for a
few minut es.
The dat e/ t im e is
incorrect
Reset t he dat e/ t ime in t he set t ings menu. If t he bat t ery runs
complet ely flat , t hen t he dat e/ t ime w ill need t o be reset.
The suct ion cup
keeps com ing off
Ensure t he w indscreen and surface area of t he suct ion cup is clean.
In w et or very hot w eat her, t he suct ion cup m ount may need t o be
reapplied. Do not apply t he suct ion mount on t he port ion of a
w indscreen w hich is not glass (eg; some vehicles may have a coat ing)
The capt ured im age
is not st ored
Your M icro SD card m ight be full or t he file may not have been saved
before pow er w as t urned off t o t he unit . M ake sure t o st op recording
before shut t ing dow n.
I cannot t urn m y
device on
Try charging t he bat t ery for 10 minut es and t ry again. The bat t ery
may be complet ely exhaust ed.
M y screen keeps
t urning off
When not connect ed t o pow er (charging) t he unit w ill alw ays t urn off
aft er 30 seconds t o conserve pow er. This funct ion cannot be
changed.

Your M icro SD m ight be full. Try rem oving some files.

M ake sure you are using t he right class 10 M icro SD Card as not ed in
t his user manual.

You m ight have some corrupt sect ors on your M icro SD Card. Try re-
format t ing it and t rying again.

M ake sure t he lens is clean and free from debris.

A) Set frequency set t ing according t o t he local pow er supply– 50Hz
B) Ensure you are using t he original (high capacit y) car charger.
There are a lot of
feat ures not
available on t his
m odel even t hough
t hey are m ent ioned
in t his m anual. Why?
Just like buying a car, t here are cert ain models w it h full feat ures and
some w it h lesser feat ures. As t he NAVC-525-WIFI model is renew able
and re-released in t he coming years, some of t hese feat ures w ill
become available and even new er feat ures w ill also be added.
