CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the supplied Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery (BL-5C) into the battery compartment at the
back of the unit. Connect one end of the supplied USB cable to your computer and the other end
of the cable to the speaker to charge the battery. (You may also use a compatible USB AC/DC
power adapter (not included) to charge the battery.) The Red charging light on the control panel
will come on.
>> Charge the battery fully before using the speaker.
>> Do not charge the battery for more than 5 hours as this will shorten its life span.
>> DO NOT USE THE UNIT WHILE CHARGING THE BATTERY.
Playing MP3 Files through the speaker using a SD card or USB memory stick

Set the Power switch to the “ON” position. The two indicator lights will light blue and the
LED display
will turn on.

Plug in your USB stick and/or SD card in the slots provided on the front of the
speaker. This speaker supports MP3 files only; it will not play any other type of
file on your USB stick or SD card.

Press the “MODE” button on the speaker or remote to change the mode to USB or
SD. If your USB/SD card contains compatible MP3 files, they will start playing
automatically. If they do not playback does not start: 1) try pressing the
“PLAY/PAUSE” button; 2) ensure that the speaker is charged and has power; 3)
ensure that the speaker has been set to the correct mode; 4) ensure that the files on
your USB/SD card are encoded in a standard MP3 format.

To adjust the volume level, press and hold the "PREV/VOL–" or "NEXT/VOL+"
buttons on the front of the speaker (or use the remote control). Do not listen to
music at high volume levels as this may damage your hearing as well as the
speakers.

To skip to the beginning or previous track, press the "PREV" button on the front
of the speaker. To skip to the next track, press the "NEXT" button. (You may also
use the

buttons on the remote control.)

To pause (and resume) playback, press the "PLAY/PAUSE" button on the front of
the speakers (or press the
button on the remote control.
>> Always turn the speaker off before removing a USB stick or SD memory card!
Failure to do so may damage your USB memory stick/SD card or the
speaker system and will void the warranty.
AUX INPUT for external devices
To play iPods(r), iPhones(r), iPads(r), smartphones, MP3/MP4 players or other audio
devices, use the included 3.5mm patch cable to connect it to the AUX input jack on
the back of the speakers. Press the "MODE" button on the speakers or the remote
control to set the unit to AUX mode.
Please note that the volume can be adjusted from your external device or from the
speaker/remote when using the AUX connection. We recommend that you set the
volume level of the external device to approximately 80% of its max.
