ID3 Tag Display
Some MP3 files are encoded with information such as
the name of the artist, the title, and the album. To-
gether, this information is called an “ID3 tag”.
Press and hold the /M–/ID3 button [20] to turn the
ID3 tag display on or off. When the ID3 tag display is on,
the unit will display tag information in the order shown
below.
Headphone Jack
Lower the volume on the boombox before connecting
headphones or earphones to the 3.5mm headphone
jack [10]. Once connected, slowly adjust the volume to
a comfortable level.

The speakers will be disabled when head-
phones are connected.

Using headphones for prolonged periods or
at a high volume can damage your hearing
permanently.
Using the Radio
Listen to FM or AM radio broadcasts. Press the /FUNC.
button [15] until the display [1] reads FM or AM, respec-
tively.
Tuning to Radio Stations
1. Tune to a station by pressing the /TUN.– [18]
or /TUN.+ button [19]. The station frequency is
shown on the display.
2. To optimize reception when listening to stations on
the FM band, fully extend the telescopic antenna
and adjust its orientation. To optimize reception for
AM stations, gently reposition the boombox. AM
reception will be best when the boombox is placed
in an open space.
