Programming Mode
Function
This tag puts the NCR 7870 in the Base Programming State. It must
be the first tag scanned after applying power to the NCR 7870, or
after scanning the Default tag.
Indication
•
Short beep as soon as tag is read – Good Read tone
•
Long and short beep – in Base Programming State
•
Status indicator – off
Save and Reset
Function
This tag causes the NCR 7870 to save and start using the
programming data. It is used in the Base Programming State.
Indication
•
Short beep as soon as tag is read – Good Read tone
•
Status indicator flashes red twice
•
Four quick beeps from low to high frequency
