Procedure 2: Over-Capacity Test
This test checks for the proper indication from the scale when too much
weight is placed on the Top Plate. An over-capacity is indicated by
dashes appearing on the display. If a failure occurs during this test, the
scale must be recalibrated.
Note:
This test must immediately follow the Increasing Load Test. Do
not remove any of the weights prior to running this test.
Instructions
1.
Use the following chart to select the correct weight.
2.
Follow steps on chart for adding and removing weights. Weight
must be placed in center of Top Plate.
