SMB Security Administration Group
The SMB Security Administration group contains the attributes that control access to the SMB.

Available Attributes
The following attributes are available on the SMB Security Administration group:
Attribute
Description
User Password
Password used by you to access the SMB out-of-band.
(Displayed as asterisks)
User Password Enabled
User password is enabled by setting this value to “Enable(d)”
and disabled by setting it to “Disable(d)”.
Support Password
Password used by NCR Remote Support analysts to access
the SMB out-of-band.
(Displayed as asterisks)
Support Password Enabled
Support password is enabled by setting this value to
“Enable(d)” and disabled by setting it to “Disable(d)”. For
security, the default setting is disabled.
Connection Mode
Determines the capabilities of the users that connect to the
SMB. If set to “Server Management”, the SMB modem allows
SMB management functions to be performed. If set to
“General Purpose”, the modem does not respond to SMB
management commands, but allows the connection as if
directly attached to the server comm port.
