Working With Event Actions
Once you have configured event actions, you can test them to make sure they work as expected
or delete them.
Testing Configured Event Actions
After configuring event actions, you can test them in the Manage Alerts dialog. Selecting a
parameter and clicking the TEST button executes all actions configured for that parameter.
Selecting only an action and clicking the TEST button executes only that event action.
Deleting Action Events
You may want to delete an event action when it is no longer needed. To delete an action:
1. In the Manage Alerts dialog, select the event action to delete.
2. Click DELETE.
When events occur, they are also logged to the Diagnostic Partition and the SMB Event log or
the UNIX System log. Refer to the applicable WorldMark 4300 User Guide for additional
information about the Diagnostic Partition.
