Connecting External Display Devices
You can connect your notebook to other display devices, such as a projector or an-
other display monitor.
Your notebook is equipped with miniDisplayPort which provides digital video sig-
nals.
Note: The DisplayPort Cable is not included in the package. It is sold separately or
it may come with your external display device.
Note: The Cirrus LT is designed to support both passive and active miniDP to DVI
adapters. The Cirrus LT is compatible with most new adapters but there are a few
older adapters that will not work. NCS sells a variety of adapters for most modern
LCDs out in the market today, i.e. MiniDP to DP, MiniDP to DVI, MiniDP to VGA,
etc. You may purchase these miniDP adapters from NCS to ensure complete com-
patibility for your Cirrus LT. Additionally, due to the nature of converting miniDP
to VGA, all of these adapters are considered active adapters.
