Cirrus LT User Manual v2.3 - Chapter 3
Connecting an external microphone
You can connect your notebook to an external microphone by plugging the audio
jack of the microphone to the microphone jack of your notebook.
If you want to use the docking station microphone jack while on a virtual
machine, you must install a driver. You can download this driver at
http://www.ncst.com/content/downloads-0.
If you have a USB headphone and microphone device, plug these into the
PCoIP USB ports.
External webcam support
This section applies to only EXTERNAL USB webcams. The Cirrus LT already has
support for an optional internal USB webcam.
Using an external USB webcam with the Cirrus LT is limited to what is supported
natively by the Teradici Firmware. Teradici only supports webcams that utilize
the older USB 1.1 specification. Newer webcams that utilize higher resolutions and
require USB 2.0 or greater are not supported by Teradici at this time. Given the data
throughput limitations available with USB 1.1 devices, the webcam experience is
acceptable, but the quality is highly dependent on network bandwidth. At best, you
can expect to see a webcam display resolution of 640 x 480.
