Set Probe tool definition
For the system to recognize a probe, its corresponding tool definition
must be loaded into the application. The system will retain this definition
and you only have to repeat this step if a new tool with different marker
geometry is required.
To Load a tool definition, select the
Tool
icon
. From the resulting
dialog, select the .rom file that matches the probe you intend to use. If the
correct .rom file is not visible, navigate to and select the correct file.
Probing Procedure
Note:It is useful to clamp the Scanner during the probing process. This leaves
both hands free for probing.
1. Move the probe into the measurement volume. The probe will be
represented dynamically in the main window and in the
measurement volume.
