Conversation
To be sure that the home care phone doesn’t stay in conversation mode forever,
there is a maximum time for the conversation. Default is set to 5 minutes, but
can be changed. If a tone command is sent from the receiving party, the time is
reloaded with the default value.
When 20 seconds remains of the conversation time, the home care phone sends
a warning tone to the receiving party. The personnel can then press a button to
extend the conversation time with 5 minutes more.

Queueing procedure
In the NEAT TALK protocol, some alarm types can be queued and sent together
with next alarm. The alarm types that normally are queued are:

Accumulator alarm
• Battery alarm
• Presence indication
• Action indication
To let these alarm types send their call directly, please contact your distributor or
NEAT Electronics to get help with the configuration.

Log call
It is possible to let NEO IP/GSM send a log call to another alarm receiver to give
information about the last call.
To activate/deactivate the Log call, see 8.7.4 Additional on page 39.
The log call will not be sent after the following alarm types:
• Presence indication
• Ready indication
• Auto ready indication
• Action indication
