4.1
Ringing signal
NEO IP/GSM can be configured to sound a ringing signal when someone is calling.
This can be useful if no ordinary telephone is present.
To enable/disable ringing signal in the speaker, see 8.10.2 Indications on page 44.

Answer by portable trigger
For many old people it can sometimes be difficult to answer a normal telephone.
NEO IP/GSM can then be configured to answer the call when the user activates
the ATOM. This can be useful if no ordinary telephone is present.

After the alarm is answered by pushing the portable trigger, the user can anytime
hang-up the call by again pushing the button.
4.3
Auto answer
The unit can also be programmed to automatically answer in Home phone mode.
The unit will answer after the number of ringing signals configured in the unit.
The unit will not answer if this value is 0.

Functions
5.1 Test alarm
To let the alarm receiver know that the home care phone is working, NEO IP/
GSM can send test alarms to the alarm receiver at regular intervals. The default
value is one test alarm every 24 hours. This interval can be changed, from 1 hour
to 155 days. The function can also be turned off.
