Cleaning instructions for cleaning the mesh nebulization units
The mesh nebulization units should be cleaned with distilled water after each inhalation process. In addition,
cleaning with the designated concentrated detergent is recommended as soon as the performance of the mesh
nebulization units noticeably decreases.
Cleaning the mesh nebulization unit upon completion of each inhalation process
Open the cap of the mesh nebulization unit and disassemble the mesh nebulization unit into its 3 single parts. Now
you can rinse the parts under running tap water.
Fill the mesh nebulization unit with approx. 1 ml distilled water. Start the nebulization process by pressing the power
button and wait until the solution is nebulised.
Place all cleaned single parts of the mesh nebulization unit on a clean, dry and absorbent surface (e.g. towel) and
let them air-dry completely.
Cleaning the mesh nebulization units with the concentrated detergent
For cleaning the mesh nebulization unit with the concentrated detergent please follow the instructions below:
1.
Fill the medication chamber of the mesh nebulization unit with 2-3 ml of the concentrated detergent.
2.
For about 1 minute a portion of the concentrated detergent should be nebulised.
3.
Leave the detergent in the medication chamber for 3 minutes, allowing it to act on the membrane of
the mesh nebulization unit.
4.
The rest of the concentrated detergent should be nebulised now.
5.
Afterwards rinse the mesh nebulization unit thoroughly with warm tap water.
6.
Then 1 ml of distilled water should be nebulised.
ATTENTION:
Please make sure that the cable with its plug does not get wet (danger of short-circuit)!
Never pull directly at the cable as this could cause cable breaks and device failures!
ATTENTION:
Always arrange for adequate ventilation! The concentrated detergent may not be inhaled or drunk!
