Installing the Wall-Mount Kit (P/N 92679B/W)
Wall-Mount Description
Any key telephone can be equipped with a wall-
mount kit for attachment to a wall. The wall-
mount kit includes a mounting bracket, wall-
mount screws, washer, and handset hangers.
Optionally, the bracket can be installed on the
phone so that the phone can be placed on the
desk. This angles the phone to provide easier
viewing of the keys and the display.
Installing the Wall-Mount Handset Hanger (if your
phone is P/N 925xx or 926xx):
Step 1 Two different types of handset hangers are
included in your kit. To ensure that you are
using the correct hanger, refer to the figure to
the right. Insert the handset hanger in the slot
provided beneath the telephone's hookswitch.
Step 2 Remove the plastic insert beneath the hook-
switch to expose the hanger screw hole.
Step 3 Place the washer over the hanger screw
hole and, using the machine screw provided,
fasten the hanger in place.
Step 4 Replace the plastic insert.
To wall-mount your phone (refer to the
figure below):
Step 1 Installing Over a Wall Plate:
Slide the metal bracket down over the
retaining screw heads on the wall plate
until secure. Note that the dimpled out-
dents in the bracket should be against
the wall.
Installing Over a Modular Jack:
Skip to Step 2.
Step 2 Depending on your installation, attach
the wall-mount kit's plastic bracket to
either the metal bracket or directly to
the wall using the screws provided.
Step 3 Insert the telephone's line cord from the
625 modular jack through the plastic
bracket into the phone. Secure the cord
using the clips provided on the bracket.
Step 4 Place the telephone on top of the
plastic bracket on the clips provided.

Installing the Wall-Mount Handset Hanger (if your
phone is P/N 922xx or 923xx):
Step 1 Two different types of handset hangers are
included in your kit. To ensure that you are
using the correct hanger, refer to the figure to
the right. Insert the handset hanger in the slot
provided beneath the telephone's hookswitch.
Make sure the clip snaps into place.
Note: The handset hanger must be installed
as shown, with the hook pointing
upward.
