Prime Line Preference
Prime Line Enhancements
With this software release, Idle Prime Line Preference is enhanced as follows:
●
An extension’s Idle Prime Line can be any trunk or trunk group, regardless of whether the
extension has a line or loop key for the trunk or group. If the Prime Line is for a trunk or
group, the extension user cannot use the
#PLA
User Programmable Feature to customize the
setting.
●
Idle Prime Line to any trunk or trunk group is available at single line telephones.
Intercom Prime Line works the same as in previous releases, although with this software release it
is programmed differently. Intercom Prime Line is the default setting.
Programming
1807-Prime Line Type
Use this option to set the Prime Line type at an extension. The options are:
●
Key (1)
The Prime Line is associated with a key on the phone, assigned in 1807-Prime Line Key.
This is the default setting.
●
Line (2)
The Prime Line is a trunk or trunk group, assigned in 1807-Prime Line/Line Group.
●

1807-Prime Line Key
If 1807-Prime Line Type is set to Key (1), use the option to select the key assigned as the exten-

●

the handset. This is the default setting.

●
CLEAR enables Intercom Prime Line.
●
CHECK restores previous entry.
