4-20 Configuring Your Server
Running the Utility
To run the utility, perform the following procedures:
1.
Power on the server.
The following message appears while POST is in progress.
IMPORTANT:
The message appears for each additional SCSI
controller.

Press <Ctrl> <A> for SCSISelect(TM) Utility!

The SCSI
Select
utility starts and its Main menu appears.
3.
Select the channel and press
Enter
.

AIC-7902 B at Slot 23 02:03:01
NOTE:
"AIC-7902A" is for backup file devices. "AIC-7902B" is for
internal SCSI hard disk drives.
The Options menu appears.
4.
Select option in the Options box and press
Enter
.

Would you like to configure the SCSI controller, or run the
SCSI Disk Utilities? Select the option and press <Enter>.

SCSI Disk Utilities
Enable HostRAID Support
Configure/View SCSI Controller Settings
If you wish to configure the adapter or a device, select "Configure/View SCSI Controller
Settings".
If you wish to format a disk, verify disk media, or display a list of devices and their SCSI
IDs, select "SCSI Disk Utilities".
