Remove the expansion slot cover, see Figure 4-23.
Note:
Save the expansion slot cover for future use.

Holding the board by its top edge or upper corners, firmly press the board
into an expansion slot on the system board. The tapered foot of the option
board retaining bracket must fit into the mating slot in the expansion slot
frame.

The retaining bracket fits into the space that was occupied by the expansion
slot cover. If you are installing a full-length PCI board you must also align
its right side mounting bracket with the guide rail on the right side of the bay
(see Figure 4-25).
