Disassembly and Reassembly
8.
Remove the two system fan modules and fan cage from the chassis (see
Figure 4-63). See
Removing the fan modules
earlier in this chapter.

9.
Tag and disconnect the power, SCSI interface, and SCSI LED cables from
their connectors on the SCSI device backpanel. The SCSI device backpanel
is located on the rear of the hard disk bay (see Figure 4-64).
10.
Remove the screws securing the hard disk drive bay to the chassis and slide
the drive bay out the front of the chassis (see Figure 4-64). Save the hard
disk drive bay and screws for reassembly later.
11.
Remove the eight screws securing the SCSI device backpanel to the rear of
the SCSI hard disk drive bay (see Figure 4-64). Save the screws for
reassembly.
12.
Carefully remove the SCSI device backpanel and black plastic insulator
from the SCSI hard disk drive bay and place it on an antistatic wrapper.
Save the black plastic insulator for reassembly.
13.
This procedure can be repeated for the optional SCSI Hard Disk Drive Bay
