Removing and Installing Server Covers
The server comes with several removable covers:
!
The fan array cover provides access to the 6-fan array.
!
The PCI bus hot-plug cover provides assess to the PCI bus hot-plug slots.
!
The top cover provides access to the profusion carrier, I/O carrier, and
240 VA protective cover. You must remove the top cover before you can
remove the 240 VA protective cover.
!
The memory module cover provides access to the two memory modules.
CAUTION
For proper cooling and airflow, do not operate the server
with the covers removed. Always reinstall them before
turning on the server.
