How to Clear Passwords
1.
Power off the server and unplug the power cord(s).
2.
Remove the PCI modules (#
1
and #2) from the server (see Chapter 8).
3.
Make setting of jumper switch on one PCI module (PCI Module #
1
in this example) to
clear passwords.
IMPORTANT:
Use the clip located on jumper pins (pins
11
and
1
2) on the
motherboard.
Do not lose the clip.
4.
Mount the PCI module to the server (see Chapter 8).
5.
Plug the power cord; when the POWER Switch LED turns on, press it to power on the
server.
6.
When the following POST screen appears after the startup, press the POWER Switch to
turn off the power.
7.
Unplug the power cord.
8.
Remove PCI Module #
1
from the server (see Chapter 8).
9.
Reset the jumper switch.
