Under [Storage Area] of the Console tree, click [Disk Management] and [VERITAS
Enterprise Administrator] to connect to the localhost.
An example in this figure shows that one of the mirrored disks in which Drives E and F
are included broke. Some disks are indicated as “Unknown disk.” However, they may
be indicated differently depending on the error type. Even in such cases, failed disks can
be recovered by following the steps below:

Remove the hard disks from Slot#2 of Group 1 and Slot#3 of Group 2.

Open [VERITAS Enterprise Administrator].
7.
Select a volume that has “x” and view the mirror tab.
8.
Right-click the degenerated mirror and select [Erase mirror].
