CPU
CPU: BTO Configuration Rule
CPUs are to be installed in the priority order of CPU1 => CPU2 => CPU3 => CPU4.

Memory

Memory in the Server: Priority/Order of Installation
Priority/Order of installing Memory (DIMM) in the server is based on the following “Basic Rures”, with some
differences depending on the server model or COPT mode or not.
Basic Rules:
When mixing different capacity of memory, larger capacity memory is installed first.
Differenct capacity of DIMM cannot be mixed when using memory sparing or mirroring.
Cannot use both memory sparing and memory mirroring.
RDIMM and RDIMM-3DS cannot be mixed.
5 sets (10x DIMM) per CPU Board is not allowed to configure, in order to avoid performance decrease
risk due to unbalanced memory.
Different rules are applied between 6 or less DIMM per CPU configuration and 8 or more DIMM per
CPU configuration
