Priority settings
For setting and displaying the priority of the tasks (Rebuild and Consistency Check) for the RAID Controller, LSI
Software RAID Configuration Utility uses numerical values while Universal RAID Utility uses three levels of High,
Middle, and Low. See table below for the correspondence between the numerical value ranges and levels for
each item..

Tips
•
LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility can specify the foreground initialization
priority and background initialization priority, but Universal RAID Utility cannot
specify the background initialization priority.
•
Universal RAID Utility cannot specify the initialization priority for LSI Embedded
MegaRAID. Set the priority using LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
