4-32 Configuring Your Server
IMPORTANT:
Notes on performing Clear BMC Configuration
Executing "Load Setup Defaults" in BIOS SETUP utility does not
restore the default values for settings related to the management
LAN of BMC. To restore the default values, you need to execute
Clear BMC Configuration.
It might take a few moments until initialization completes after
execution of Clear BMC Configuration.
If you are using NEC ESMPRO Agent Extension, settings for
remote management feature made in NEC ESMPRO Agent
Extension is also cleared by executing Clear BMC Configuration.
Before execution, be sure to make backup copy of setting
information for remote management feature by using NEC
ESMPRO Agent Extension or "System Management" in Tool menu
of NEC EXPRESSBUILDER.
NOTE:
Executing [Save Custom Defaults/Load Custom Defaults] of
BIOS SETUP does not save the settings you have specified in the BMC
LAN Configuration menu.
