When the jumper setting is changed, the internal hard disk drive is recognized by the BIOS setup
utility as a RAID system drive.
Select [Advanced]
→
[SATA Configuration]
→
[SATA Mode] and confirm that [RAID Mode] is
shown.

When these settings are changed, the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility is used to build a
RAID system. For details, see RAID System Configuration (on page 4-37).
NOTE
:
When the Express Setup program provided on the included
EXPRESSBUILDER DVD is used, the RAID system is automatically
built. In addition, if the operating system to be installed is Windows, the
processing up until the operating system is installed can be performed
without interruption.
