Problem of Installing OS

Unable to create a partition when installing Windows Server 2012 R2:
Is the following message displayed?
Delete the partition created, and then create a new partition.
Be careful to delete what partition if another data disk is connected.

Unable to install OS:
Is the hard disk drive properly installed?
Make sure that the hard disk drive is installed securely and that cables are properly connected.
Is the disk format correct?
Follow the table below to create a partition depending on the boot mode.
Boot mode
Disk format
UEFI
GUID partition table (GPT)
Legacy BIOS
Master boot record (MBR)
For example, the following message appears if an MBR disk is specified as the system drive of
Windows on UEFI boot mode.
When the disk format is changed, the disk drive on which OS is installed is cleared and the new
partitions are created. Back up necessary data before changing the disk format.
