Conducting a Three
‐
Way Conference Call (For SV8500 only)
The holding function is used in conducting a three
‐
way conference call.
To initiate a three
‐
way conference call:
1.
Call the first participant of the conference call as described in
Making a Call
on page 40
2.
Press the
Hold
key or
TRANSFER
key to put the call on hold.
3.
Call the number of the second participant of the call.
4.
After the second call is made, press the
CONF.
key on the phone to include all participants in the call.
To end the three
‐
way conference call, hang up.
Note:
At doing the above operation, all calls is disconnected.
Transferring a Call
For SV8500 (Single line mode only)
To transfer a call to another phone number, follow the steps below based on ways IP PBX perform:
1.
While a call is in progress, press the
TRANSFER
key on the phone.
Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call, then hang up to transfer the call.
2.
While a call is in progress, press the
TRANSFER
key on the phone.
Dial the number to which you want to transfer the call and then hang up the phone to transfer the call after the call
is connected.
For SV8300
To transfer a call to another phone number, follow the steps below based on ways IP PBX perform:
1.
While a call is in progress, press the
TRANSFER
key on the phone.
Dial the transfer destination number and go on hook to initiate a blind transfer.
2.
While a call is in progress, press the
TRANSFER
key on the phone.
Dial the transfer destination number and announce the call when answered. Go on hook to complete supervised
transfer.
Note:
Cancel transfer call, Ring back tone, Caller ID for transferred Call and Consultation Hold are not available
For SV8100
To transfer a call to another phone number, follow the steps below based on ways IP PBX perform:
1.
While a call is in progress, press the
TRANSFER
key on the phone.
Dial the transfer destination number and go on hook to initiate a blind transfer.

While a call is in progress, press the
TRANSFER
key on the phone.
Dial the transfer destination number and announce the call when answered. Go on hook to complete supervised
transfer.

Ring back Tone, Caller ID for transferred Call and Consultation Hold are not available
Checking Voice Messages
If the
“message indicator” is lit, it indicates that you have a new message in your voicemail box.
You need to set a voice message code before using the voice mail function. After the code has been set, you can listen to
your personal voice message by pressing the
MESSAGE
key. (External ITSP or IP PBX is required for this function.)
For example:
When there is a voice message for account ID number 201,
“VM<201>” will be shown on the LCM display.
