Locate an available power connector coming from the power supply.

Connect the appropriate power cable (D) to the power connector on the storage
device.

Audio Cable is not available on this system.
Cabling a Hard Disk Drive
All storage devices require power and DATA cable connections. Devices shipped with
the system are already connected.
The following procedures explain how to attach the cables to a hard disk drive.
S-ATA Hard Disk Drive
1.
Connect the S-ATA cable connector to the matching pins on the storage device.

Take care to prevent bending drive connector pins.
■
Align the cable connector to the matching pins on the drive. Black side
goes to hard disk drive; blue side goes to motherboard. Refer to S-ATA
Hard Disk Drive picture hereafter.
