7-8 Maintenance
1.
Power off the server (the POWER LED goes off).
2.
Unplug the power cord of the server from a power outlet.
3.
Remove all the cables and external options from the server.
4.
Protect the server with the shock-absorbing materials, and pack it securely.
IMPORTANT:
Check and adjust the system clock before the
operation after relocating or storing the server.
If the system clock is remarkably delayed or advanced as the passage of
time in spite of adjustment, contact your service representative to ask
maintenance.
If the server or an internal option device is brought from a cold place to
a warm place suddenly, the dew condensation may be generated
resulting in malfunction or failure of the unit. Leave the unit in the
operating environment until it fully adapts to the surroundings to
protect the valuable data or property.
