Connect the cable.
Connect the internal SAS cable according to "Cable Connection" described later.
IMPORTANT:
Installation of PCI board depends on your server model.
Be sure to read "Cable Connection" before installing the PCI board.

Connect the PCI riser card to the slot on the mother board.
Align the riser card terminal section with the slot on the mother board, and firmly push the
riser module until it is fully seated.
Confirm that the protrusion of PCI riser card correctly fit into the hole on the mother
board.
9.
Install the components you have removed in earlier steps.
10.
Power on the server and verify that POST displays no error messages.
11.
Configure the board by using the BIOS configuration utility of the board installed.
For how to configure the board, refer to the manual that comes with the board. If a
bootable device is connected to the installed board, the boot priority is changed to the
system default. Run BIOS SETUP utility to specify the boot order again in [Boot] menu.

Removal
Remove a PCI board in reverse order of the installation steps. After removal, run BIOS SETUP
utility to specify the boot order again in [Boot] menu. See Chapter 4 for details.
