NAMES AND FUNCTIONS OF COMPONENTS
Names and functions of the components are shown below.
Front View
3.5-inch Disk Model
(1)
Cable clamp
Use cable clamp to secure the LAN cable.
(2)
PCI slot
Insert an optional PCI riser card into this slot.
(3)
Hard disk drive bay
Up to two 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drives can be installed in the bays. The last-digit
number indicates the channel number.
(4)
Slide tag
Use slide tag to memorize information for server management.
(5)
AC inlet
Connect the AC power cord to this socket.
(6)
DISK STATUS LED (green/amber)
Indicates the status of each hard disk drive (0 or 1).
(7)
DISK ACCESS LED (green)
Lights green when internal hard disk is accessed.
(8)
SYSTEM STATUS LED (green/amber)
Indicates system status.
(9)
Dump (NMI) switch
Press this switch to dump system memory.
(10)
POWER switch /POWER LED (green)
The POWER switch is used to turn the power of the server ON/OFF. If you press this
switch once, the power is turned on with the POWER LED going on green. If you press the
switch again, the power is turned off with the LED going off. Keep pressing the switch for 4
seconds or longer forcibly shuts down the system.
