Removing the Front Bezel
If the server is mounted on a rack, the front bezel needs to be removed when turning the server on or off, or
handling an optical disk drive.
1.
Insert the attached bezel lock key into the key slot and turn the key to the front bezel side while
pressing it lightly to release the lock.
2.
Hold the right end of the front bezel carefully to pull it toward you.
3.
Slide the front bezel to the left a little to release the tab from the frame and then remove the front bezel
from the server. (The example image shown is for a 2.5-inch drive model.)

Removing the Top Cover
Remove the top cover when installing or removing the Internal optional drives connections.
1.
Slide back the top cover while pressing its release
button.
2.
Lift the top cover off the server.
