Install the backplane board.
(1) If a HDD has been installed in the server, remove it.
(2) Remove the four screws from the front cover.
(3) Lift the front cover straight up to remove it.
(4) If a backplane board has been installed, remove it.
Remove the three screws to remove the existing backplane board.
