IMPORTANT:
You can also clear MTBF information for the PCI module, Ethernet Adapter and
SCSI Adapter by unplugging and plugging the live wire of the PCI module.
Procedure in NEC ESMPRO Manager
Perform the procedure below before replacement of a component.
1.
Select the target component in the [ft] tree.
2.
Check the current state with the “State” display on the target component screen.
3.
Click the [MTBF Clear] button in the [Maintenance] screen for the target component.
You can verify the MTBF clearing result by confirming whether the reset is done when
the number of fault becomes 0 on the MTBF information of the target componet screen.
4.
Start the component.
