Removing the Top Cover
To remove the top cover:
1.
The front door must be either opened or removed. To open the front door,
see "Front View with Front Door Opened" in Chapter 2. To remove the front
door, see "Removing the Front Door Assembly of the Tower-Based System"
above.

Power off the system and ensure it is disconnected from the ac wall outlet.
3.
The top cover is removed from the top of the cabinet by pressing out on its
two metal snap fasteners (located underneath the back of the cover) while
simultaneously pulling the cover towards the rear of the cabinet until its tab
fasteners are unlocked. Then lift the cover up and out of its top holes (see
Figures below).
