The UDP port number of the 2000 IPS for SNMP is 161 (fixed/standard).
10. The following MIB objects in the System group are assigned as follows:
NOTE 1:
Maximum of 64 characters can be assigned for each of MIB object “sysContact”, “sysName”,
“sysLocation” from the MAT. The MIB objects can be overwritten from the SNMP manager
with maximum of 255 characters after they are set by MAT.
Be sure to execute the system data backup after the MIB objects are changed.
NOTE 2:
To register the MIB objects to the 2000 IPS from the SNMP manager, be sure to set the com-
munity name “admin” (CM0B Y=03>01) or optional community name (CM0B Y=03>10-11)
beforehand.
NOTE 3:
The above MIB objects are stored in the MP as system data. Therefore, when the SNMP man-
ager changes the MIB information after saving the system data by MAT, verify error will occur
between the saved system data and the system data in the MP.
There are no problem for the 2000 IPS even if the verify error occurs.
