(13) Change over the input signal to PAL and repeat the steps of (7) and (12) above. However, the adjust-
ment of TINT is not required.
(14) Change over the input signal to SECAM and repeat the steps of (7) and (12) above. However, the
adjustment of TINT is not required.
(15) After the withdrawal from the factory setting mode, press the PROCEED key of the remote control to
select [COLOR SYSTEM] from [MAIN MENU] and [INFORMATION].
(16) Press the cursor key [<] or [>] and set the color system at [AUTO 2].
(17) Assume the factory shipment setting mode again with the factory shipment adjusting command of the
remote control.
(18) Assume the D-CONTROL PAL screen by pressing the PROCEED key.
(19) Change over the input signal to PAL N and repeat the above adjustments (7) to (12). It is, however,
unnecessary to make the adjustment of TINT.
(20) Press the PROCEED key of the remote control to select [COLOR SYSTEM] from [MAIN MENU] and
[INFORMATION].
(21) Press the cursor key [<] or [> and set the color system at [AUTO] again.
(22) Change over the input signal to SECAM SLIDE.
(23) Assume the D-CONTROL SECAM screen by pressing the PROCEED key.
(24) Press the cursor key [^] or [v] of the remote control to select [BELL].
(25) According to the waveform observed at TP5412, adjust the chroma level per line to become uniform,
by pressing the cursor key [<] or [>].

(26) Change over the input signal to the SECAM color bar.
(27) Press the cursor key [^] or [v] of the remote control to select [B-Y].
(28) According to the waveform at TP5410, adjust the black level of the B-Y waveform to become linear, by
pressing the cursor key [<] or [>].
(29) Press the cursor key [^] or [v] of the remote control to select [R-Y].
(30) According to the waveform at TP5409, adjust the black level of the R-Y waveform to become linear, by
pressing the cursor key [<] or [>].
(31) Repeat the steps of (11) and (12) above. However, the adjustment of TINT is not required.
(32) Withdraw from the factory shipment setting mode.
