Factory setting. Maintains system board
configuration in CMOS RAM with
onboard battery.
To clear CMOS, turn off the system,
remove the jumper from pins 1-2, and
place the jumper on pins 2-3. Wait 10
seconds. Replace the jumper on pins 1
and 2 and power on the system.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the
system board, avoid clearing CMOS
while power is on.

Factory setting. Sets the system for
normal operation. The BIOS uses
current configuration information and
passwords at power on.
To enable BIOS recovery for a
corrupted system, remove the jumper
from the block. Wait 10 seconds.
Replace the jumper on pins 1 and 2.
Restores Safe BIOS settings as the
default BIOS settings and loads the
BIOS Setup at power on.
