NOTE:
The drivers and other software
components required for the operating system
are also loaded from the CD.
After the OS finishes loading, the “Operating System Restore Completed” screen
appears.

Remove the CD from the CD tray.

to reboot.
This completes the Auto Rebuild and Restore procedure.
To reinstall any of the applications or device drivers that came with the computer, follow
the procedures in “Restoring Applications” or “Installing Optional Software.”
Restore the application software that did not come with your computer using the vendor
diskette(s) or CD-ROM(s) included in its original packaging.
Custom Rebuild and Restore
To perform a custom OS Restore with choices on repartitioning and/or reformatting the
hard disk, boot the system from the Select Install CD. When the system boots from the CD,
it automatically loads the MS-DOS-based Operating System Restore program.
CAUTION:
If possible, back up your data
before performing an OS restore.
