This is not an error.
POST ERROR XXXX
[Description]
POST halts due to a detection of an error. XXXX denotes POST error code. If several errors are detected,
several POST error codes are displayed.
[Recommended action]
Check POST error code, and take an appropriate action.
No Available Memory in System
[Description]
Valid DIMM could not be detected.
*No DIMM was detected.
*Detected that Unbuffered DIMM and Registered DIMM are installed together.
*Failed DIMM was detected, but available DIMM could not be detected.
*Available DIMM could not be detected.
[Recommended action]
Restart the server.
If it does not solve your problem, make sure that DIMM is installed in correct slot.
If it does not solve your problem, check the type of DIMM.
If it does not solve your problem, check installation status of DIMM.
If it does not solve your problem, remove DIMM and install it again.
If it does not resolve your problem, contact your sales representative.
Memory Reconfigured
[Description]
The server starts with DIMM degraded status due to one of the following events:
*A failed DIMM was detected while POST performs system memory test.
*A failed DIMM was detected while the system is running, and the server restarts.
[Recommended action]
Run SETUP, select
Advanced
→
Memory Configuration
→
Memory Retest
, and change parameter to
Yes
.
Then, select
Save & Exit
→
Save Changes and Exit
and restart the server. Refer to Chapter 2 (1. System
BIOS) in this guide.
If it does not solve your problem, check installation status of DIMM.
If it does not solve your problem, remove DIMM and install it again.
If it does not resolve your problem, contact your sales representative.
