Creating and adding a configuration
Run the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
Set new configuration data (pack/Virtual Drive settings)
Check the Virtual Drive settings
Initialize the Virtual Drive
Execute a Consistency Check
Exit the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility
1. Run the LSI Software RAID Configuration Utility.
2. To create a new configuration, select
Configure
and then
New Configuration
from the TOP menu
(
Management Menu
).
To add a configuration, select
Configure
and then
View/Add Configuration
.
Important When a configuration is created by selecting
New Configuration
, the existing
configuration data is cleared. To add configuration data to the existing
configuration, select
View/Add Configuration
.
Note
•
When
Easy Configuration
is selected to create a configuration, the Virtual Drive
capacity cannot be specified. If you want to specify the capacity, select
New
Configuration
or
View/Add Configuration
.
•
For RAID10, the Virtual Drive capacity is set as the maximum capacity. You
cannot specify a capacity.

For RAID0, skip
