Touch Panel
Use the provided stylus (touch pen) or your finger on the touch panel to avoid damage.
Do not tap the touch panel with a sharp object such as a ballpoint pen or a pencil. Failure to follow this
instruction may cause the touch panel to be damaged.
To clean the surface of the touch panel, wipe with a dry and soft cloth such as a glass cloth. Using the
touch panel if it has dust on the surface may cause it damage.
The touch pad is very sensitive. Do not press your hands on the touch panel or push the surrounding
area of the touch panel with force.
While the touch panel is being used, do not put your hands on the keyboard.
The touch panel is a pressure-sensitive device on which you can control the position of the pointer.
It is located on the LCD screen and enables control of ShieldPRO when it is in tablet mode.
The stylus can be stored on the base of ShieldPRO (see "4.5.2 Outside sections"). Sliding your
finger or the stylus on the panel moves the pointer on the screen (also called the cursor). If you
reach the end of the panel, remove your finger and put it at the opposite end to continue on the
same line.
The table below describes general terms with which you should be familiar on the touch panel.
