3-6 Using the BIOS Setup Utility

BIOS Version — Displays the version number of the current BIOS
Setup utility and firmware.
System Memory — Displays the amount of system memory
currently installed in your system.
Language — Designates the language displayed by the BIOS Setup
utility.
Date — Sets your NEC Versa LitePad tablet PC calendar month,
day and year. These settings remain in memory even after you turn
off system power.

System Time — Sets the time; enter the current hour, minute, and

Internal HDD — Opens a sub-menu with parameters for the
internal hard drive in your system.
Boot Sector Virus Protection — Enables or disables the write
protection of the hard drive boot sector. Enabling protection avoids
information by some virus types.
